Successful completion of this course meets the requirements for the training element only for registration as a certified IRCA auditor. As such all delegates are expected to have an understanding of ISO 14000 series of standards.
COURSE OBJECTIVES –
• Explain the requirements of ISO 14001:2004 in context of an audit.,
• Describe the purpose of EMS and explain principles, processes and techniques for identification and assessment of EMS elements.,
• Identification of Environmental Aspects and Impacts, Assessment on Environmental Aspects and Impacts, Explain documentation and implementation of EMS.,
• Explain legislative framework relevant to EMS.,
• Provide detailed knowledge of the auditing process including the role and responsibility of auditors and lead auditors.,
• Achieve in depth knowledge about EMS implementation audit requirements through lectures, discussions, case studies, presentations and role plays etc.
CERTIFICATE A certificate of successful completion of the course will be issued to those participants who satisfactorily complete the continuous assessment and written examination. However, participants who do not qualify either in continuous assessment or the written examination will be given certificate of attendance only.
CONTENTS Course Introduction & Terminology, Environmental Aspects, ISO 14001 : 2004 Interpretations, Documentation, Types of Audits/Assessments, Audit: The Preparation stage, Audit Plan, Audit: Performance stage, Audit evidence, Audit tools, Preparation of checklists, Non-conformance reports, Follow-up audits/surveillance, Continual Improvement Techniques & Methodology, Communication, Auditor & auditee conduct, Registration scheme for auditors, Individual & group exercises, Case study, Role plays, End of day tests, Written examination.
COURSE FEESThe total course fee for this non-residential Course is Rs. 17, 000/- plus service tax of 12.36%. This is inclusive of registration fee, course material, lunch, tea/coffee. This is a non-residential course.

TIMING & VENUE The course will begin at 9.00 A.M. and will go up to 6.00 P.M. On last day of the course there will be 2 hours written examination. Venue shall be communicated after registration.
