The SRMJEEE Counseling 2015 for B. Tech. admission of SRM University began on May 17, 2015 at Dr. T. P. Ganesan Hall. The opening program started with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. T. R. Paarivendar, Chancellor, SRM University, conveyed that SRM University is a multidisciplinary university which deals a very generous and educational atmosphere to the students. "Everybody in this university is open to new thoughts, " he said.
Prof. Muthu Subramaniam, Director of Admission processs, SRM University, explained, "Entrants are baptized based on their totals in the university's admission test. We checked a lot of participants for computer science, while software engineering had the slightest amount." Dr. T. R. Paarivendar also circulated the scholarships reward to the worthy entrants. In the general part, 26 scholarships were given away and around 13 scholarships were circulated under sports part and five under employment part.
